The Tribeca Film Festival will hold the world premiere of director Tony Kaye‘s new drama Detachment on Monday night.

Written by Carl Lund, the film stars Adrien Brody, Christina Hendricks, Marcia Gay Harden, Lucy Liu, Blythe Danner, James Caan, Tim Blake Nelson, Bryan Cranston and William Petersen in a look at the American education system.

“I like big moral and social issues,” says Kaye.

Paper Street Films and Kingsgate produced. ICM is selling domestic rights to the film.

Christina Hendricks along with her husband, Geoffrey Arend, were guest stars on “Top Chef Masters” the other night. The episode was called “Everything old is new again” and the couple set contestants the task to update 1960s classic dishes and serve them up as appetizers for 40 guests at their cocktail party. The menu included dishes such as oysters rockefeller, chicken a la king, beef stroganoff and deviled eggs.

She is leaving Paul Kohner Agency and has yet to sign with a new firm.

Mad Men star Christina Hendricks has left the Paul Kohner Agency and has yet to sign with new talent agents.

The split is said to be amicable. Hendricks will likely be a hot commodity with the big agencies due to her Emmy-nominated turn as Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce office manager Joan Harris (née Holloway) on the AMC drama.

Mad Men will not return to television until 2012 because of labored contract negotiations between the network, studio Lionsgate and creator Matthew Weiner. But Hendricks has been keeping busy during the hiatus.

Earlier this month she appeared in Stephen Sondheim’s Company at the New York Philharmonic alongside Stephen Colbert, Neil Patrick Harris and Jon Cryer.

Hendricks also has a handful of forthcoming film projects. There’s the comedy I Don’t Know How She Does It, which is currently in production and also stars Sarah Jessica Parker and Pierce Brosnan. She is also attached to Seconds of Pleasure, a Neil Labute-penned drama featuring Matt Dillon, Julia Stiles, Brendan Fraser and Kristin Scott Thomas.

Hendricks continues to be managed by Kritzer Levine Wilkins Griffin Entertainment.

Christina Hendricks’ profile keeps expanding. Not only is the Mad Men co-star appearing on Bravo’s Top Chef Masters tonight, but she also guest stars in an upcoming episode of ABC’s Body of Proof.

Below we’ve got the exclusive first look at Hendricks on the new crime drama, which stars Dana Delany as a medical examiner. Hendricks appears here alongside her real-life husband — Proof regular Geoffrey Arend. In this scene, Hendricks plays both the victim and the survivor of a crime, as “Karen” reacts to seeing her murdered identical twin. The episode airs April 19 at 10 p.m.

Here are the episode stills from Christina Hendricks‘ guest spot on “Body of Proof“. The episode will air on April 19 (10:01-11:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network. Christina will star opposite her real-life husband and “Body of Proof” regular, Geoffrey Arend.

Christina will portray Karen Archer, the identical twin of a beautiful corpse, Jessica, whose mysterious death keeps Ethan and Curtis guessing. As Ethan’s personal interest in this case deepens, Curtis begins questioning Ethan’s motives. Meanwhile, Megan faces old demons when she visits her former boss at the hospital where she used to practice. A patient has died after recent surgery. Was it murder or malpractice? Megan begins to suspect the victim’s doctor (Marc Blucas, “Buffy The Vampire Slayer”), but as soon as she starts ruffling feathers, the hospital stonewalls.
